Mark Todd is an Associate Broker at Compass Real Estate, specializing in luxury residential and commercial real estate sales and leasing across Coastal Orange County. With over 30 years of experience in the Southern California real estate market, Mark has built a reputation for integrity, leadership, and a client-first approach that emphasizes data-driven strategies and deep local knowledge. His influence extends beyond transactions, as he has also served in leadership roles with local and state Realtor Associations, driving significant changes in technology, procedures, and finance.

Mark’s diverse professional background includes marketing national ad campaigns, leading high-stakes negotiations, and working as a logistics and media correspondent for a U.S. Senator. He has also led mortgage divisions for top U.S. banks, bringing a comprehensive understanding of real estate finance to his clients. Mark’s commitment to excellence has consistently ensured his clients’ interests come first in every deal, whether it’s a luxury home sale or a commercial property lease.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Mark attended Baltimore Polytechnic and Patterson High Schools before earning his degree from Towson State University. Sports have been a pivotal part of Mark’s life; he has coached collegiate, high school, and youth lacrosse, and played multiple sports, including football, hockey, basketball, baseball, tennis, and soccer. He credits sports with teaching him resilience, purpose, self-confidence, teamwork, and the benefits of both physical and mental conditioning.

Mark joined the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation (OCYSF) Board in 2023 with a mission to positively impact the lives of young people through mentorship and financial support. He currently serves on the Scholarship Committee, Scholarship Chair, and Corporate Sponsorship Committee. Mark articulates the OCYSF mission as making a positive impact in the lives of young people who need mentorship and financial support.

Mark and his wife reside in Newport Beach, California. He continues to be actively involved in community service, philanthropy, and supporting youth sports programs throughout Southern California. Beyond his professional and philanthropic pursuits, Mark has a fun side; he has done stand-up comedy and has worked on Capitol Hill, showcasing his diverse talents and interests.
